AIDS Walk 2013
When: Saturday, August 10, 2013 9:30am (recommend arriving by 9 am)
Where: North End of Denver's Cheesman Park - 12th St. & Humboldt St.
Instead of our normal Saturday Frontrunners start at Dora Moore school, we'll all meet in Cheesman Park to join the AIDS walk and run.
AIDS Walk Colorado is the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest and most successful HIV and AIDS fundraiser. More than 8,000 people from throughout the state come together as a community, fueled by donations from more than 13,000 individuals, to raise money for vital services for HIV/AIDS clients of Colorado AIDS Project and more than 20 other outstanding AIDS service organizations. We are proud to support the first annual Colorado Springs Big Gay 5K in partnership with PrideFest and Spree Racing. The Big Gay 5K will take place at 10:00am Sunday July 21st, one hour before the Colorao Springs Pride Parade. The race will be on city streets following the parade route, starting and ending in America the Beautiful Park. This race is for everyone; walkers, runners, really fast runners, kids, adults, families, gay & straight. Come to run. Come to have fun. Come to support. Come to PRIDE! Cherry Creek Sneak, 5 & 10 Mile, 5K
Sunday, April 27. The Cherry Creek Sneak is run annualy in Denver Colorado's Cherry Creek District. The events include a 10 mile run, 5 mile run, 5K, 1.5 mile sprint, and a kids fun run. The courses start near the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and include attractions such as the Denver Country Club and Cheesman Park.
Monday, May 26. The race is a 10k road race through the streets of Boulder, Colorado and finishes in UC's Folsom Stadium. The race is the third largest in the United States and the seventh largest in the world. Over 50,000 runners of all capabilities participate in the race, making it one of the largest participatory races in the country. The race has been awarded many accolades from the media. Runner’s World named the race, "America’s All-Time Best 10K.".
Colfax Marthon and Half Marathon

The Colfax Half Marathon and Marathon is the only race with a wild one mile run through Denver Zoo. Enjoy fast, flat and shady boulevards in Denver's historic Park Hill neighborhood - and the favorite run through Aurora Fire Station #1. Along the way, enjoy some quintessentially Colorado entertainment.
While the Colorado's springtime marathon runs through the best landmarks in the Mile High City! The 26.2 mile Denver marathon course starts and finishes in spectacular City Park. Get a player's view of the field at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium - home of the Denver Broncos - with two stadium run-throughs. Run through Denver Fire Station #1, along seven miles of urban lakes, rivers and creeks - including Cherry Creek and the Platte River, and Sloan's Lake. Race through eclectic neighborhoods - all under the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains!

Every Tuesday night our walking contingent do a brisk walk around the outer edge of Cheesman Park enjoying the views of the Front Range mountains at dusk. These walks are done during the spring and summer months in conjunction with the Sage program at the GLBT Center of Colorado (Denver).
Where: Tuesday evenings we meet at the CHUN House on the north side of the park. CHUN House is at 1290 Williams.
When: We start at 4:30 pm.
Course: We do a brisk walk two times around the edge of Cheesman Park for a distance of about 2.9 miles.

The Big Gay 5K in Denver is going to be, well, BIG! The Big Gay 5K. The race in partnership with Denver PrideFest, Spree Racing and Colorado Frontrunners supports The GLBT Community Center (Denver) in their efforts to advocate for the LGBT community of Denver. The race will start and end in Civic Center Park. We will run east on 14th Avenue, turn into Cheesman Park and back to join the PrideFest activities! This race is for everyone; walkers, runners, kids, adults, gay and straight. Come to run. Come to have fun. Come to support. Come to PRIDE!

Parade - Sunday starts at 9:30 am from Cheesman Park traveling down Colfax Avenue to Civic Center Park (site of Denver Pridefest).
Colorado Frontrunners will have an information booth at Pridefest and will march in the Pridefest Parade. Help support and promote Colorado Frontrunners by volunteering at our information booth and marching with other Frontrunners in the Pridefest Parade. For more information on how you can participate
