About Us
Colorado Frontrunners is a running and walking club for the LGBTQ community and their friends, and is one of more than 100 International Frontrunners clubs around the world.
Please join us for our weekly runs and walks in Denver or Boulder. Seasonally, you can find us running trails at various locations throughout the Front Range.
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome. It's a great way to get active, stay healthy and make friends.
Weekly Runs & Walks
Saturdays in Denver!
Where: In front of Dora Moore Elementary School at 9th Ave. and Downing St., across from King Soopers.
When: Saturday mornings at 9:15 am, rain, snow, or shine.
Course: Runners head to Washington Park via Marion Street, circle the park, and return (~6 miles). Walkers head to Cheesman Park for a brisk stroll 2 times around the edge (~3.2 miles).
After: We meet for coffee, snacks, and great conversations at Buzz Cafe at Marion and 6th about 10:30am. Even if you don't run or walk, join us!
Sundays in Boulder!
Where: In the east end of the (free on Sundays) parking lot of the Boulder Public Library Main Branch, 1001 Arapahoe Ave.
When: Sunday mornings at 9:15am, rain, snow or shine.
Course: Runners head out along Boulder Creek, either up Boulder Canyon or around CU Boulder (~5 miles). Walkers also head up Boulder Canyon along the creek (~2 miles).
After: We meet at Amante Coffee (1023 Walnut St.) for food and drink.
Wednesday Trail Runs - Temporarily Suspended!
We have shut down the Wednesday trail runs through the 2023 season. The board will be working with our trail runners to develop a plan to keep everyone safe on the trails.
During spring and summer months, join us along the Front Range for trail runs on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Look for announcements on our Meetup Group and in our newsletter.
Thursday Sloans Lake Runs!
A small group gathers for a lap or two around Sloans Lake on Thursdays at 6:30pm. Enter the North parking lot (3rd entrance east of Sheridan) on Byron Street. Participants gather near the boathouse along the path.
Membership
Join Colorado Frontrunners!
Membership is not a requirement for participation in our club, but it does help cover insurance, fees for International Frontrunners and other club expenses. To join the Colorado Frontrunners, simply sign our waiver and then pay your $20 / year by pressing the secure PayPal link below.
